Former Marine Joins American Bible Society as New Executive Director of Philanthropy
Armed Services Ministry Welcomes Matt Brock
American Bible Society extends a warm welcome to Matt Brock, who joins us as the Executive Director of Philanthropy for our Armed Services Ministry.
Matt is an experienced leader with a wide range of expertise in fundraising and resource development. In his new role, he will focus on growing generosity and expanding ministry to our Military members, Veterans, and their families.
For the past three years, Matt served as the Regional Vice President for Christian Financial Resources, focusing on growing the investment and loan portfolio and expanding services to Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana, and Arkansas.
Previously, Matt served as the Director of Development for Good News Productions International (GNPI), where he helped accelerate global evangelism through media and technology. He also served as Vice President for External Affairs at Liberty Counsel, where he led initiatives to increase awareness, advocacy, and philanthropy among nearly 2 million members.
Matt served in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve for eight years, achieving the rank of Sergeant and receiving numerous medals and honors in recognition of his service.
Matt holds a BS and MA from Oklahoma Christian University. He earned his PhD in Performance Improvement from Capella University.
Currently, Matt serves on the Mission Board and preaching team at Mt. Hope Church in Webb City, MO. He lives with his wife, Holly, and their daughter in Carthage, MO.
