How do you know someone cares about you?

All humans have a need to be cared for and loved. When we encounter suffering or hardship, it can be easy to feel forgotten or alone. We may ask, If God really cared for us, why would we experience injustice and pain?

In his Word, God tells us that he loves us. But he also shows us his love through creation. The tremendous creativity, design, and intention displayed in the natural world remind us that God cares for everything he makes—especially us. God tells us to look at the world around us and remember that we are even more precious to him. In his incredible care for us, he will not leave us alone when we are struggling with fear, sorrow, or discouragement. Even more amazing, he promises to provide strength and resilience for everyone who trusts in him. Throughout every moment of our lives, we can rest in an everlasting God who cares for us.
