The Bible on Broadway

New York City is known for noise. Car horns, music and the chatter of millions fill the city streets. But at American Bible Society’s headquarters on 1865 Broadway, the new ABS Atrium provides a refuge from the bustle of daily life and a chance to connect with the Bible in a fresh way.

The ABS Atrium, which opened to the public on February 19, offers an interactive Bible experience with a touch-screen video table, Bibles.com Resource Center and iPads loaded with Bible apps and video experiences. Guests can also relax with a book at the Cafe or meet with friends in a variety of comfortable seating areas.

“The high traffic location of American Bible Society’s Manhattan headquarters presents a unique opportunity for the ministry to serve New Yorkers,” said Geof Morin, Chief Communications Officer. “It is our pleasure to welcome neighbors and tourists alike to our new technologically advanced Atrium, offering respite from busy life, a chance to explore God’s Word or a place to enjoy a cup of coffee.”

During February and March, the Atrium will feature an exhibit on the miniseries The Bible, which airs on History Channel through March.
