Thousands of Catholic families in Brooklyn, New York, spent summer 2017 reading the Bible together. In June 2017, American Bible Society’s prayer and financial partners joined with Fundación Ramón Pané and Biblica to help launch the Catholic Community Bible Experience in 30 parishes across Brooklyn. The Community Bible Experience uses a reader-friendly Bible—with no chapter numbers, verse numbers, or footnotes—to help churches experience the New Testament as a living, breathing story with relevance for everyday life.
Altogether, you helped provide more than 9,000 Scripture resources in five languages to families in Brooklyn hungry for the life-changing story of the Bible.
Thanks to the support of our faithful financial partners, American Bible Society has been engaging people with the life-changing message of God’s Word for more than 200 years.
