After years of tireless work, more than three million Kalenjin speakers in Kenya now have a Bible translated into their heart language. The Bible Society recently launched the Revised Kalenjin Bible translation, and it will serve speakers of eight Kalenjin dialects.
“I am happy that today I received a Bible that I can identify with and understand well,” said Teresa. “I pray that with the knowledge in this Word, I will continue to be a role model to my children and their children and that I may inspire them to study the Word of God in my language.”
Praise the Lord for this new translation in Kenya, which is serving millions of God’s people with His Word! We are thankful for our financial partners whose faithfulness helps to engage people in the Bible.
